A. 12.3 / 13.4 150 wall ball shots 90 double unders 30 muscle ups = through 3 muscle ups
R: 2.5 hrs
B. Row 2000m 7:44.8 R:20m Row 500m 1:43.4
Needed this after the week I've been having. So happy to get through the 3 muscle ups where I struggled so so much to no avail the year before. Also stoked with the row as I don't think I've ever gotten below 8:00 (usually fatigue near the end too much + don't have written down my previous 2k other than from 6/26/14 which was 8:18).
For the 500, I felt like I gave it my all (with the energy I had) and pleased with it although I didn't PR.
Great Job Alex - way to stay positive and not let a lack luster test week thus far interfere with your performance today. That in itself is a true sign of mental fortitude.
A. 150 WBs/ 90 DUs/ 30 MU -- AMRAP 12 I got through 5 muscle ups. Very happy with this. The WBs I moved through fairly efficiently without much fatigue and finished about 30 seconds faster through the DUs (8:15) than I did back in 2013, and was able to do MUs this time.
B. Not sure I can get back to gym because of work. May try to make this up later in the week (or Sunday).
I got so overwhelmed calling out my back squat I forgot to mention I got fitted for a wedding today. On the plus side. My neck has grown 2.5 inches and my quads went from 21 inches to 25 inches. Since April.
A. Through one muscle up. Finished dubs with little over two min. Never muscle up'ed in a workout so waited till I was fresh enough to hit one. Very excited about this! B. 2000 - 8:12 500 -1:48
Session 1: Finished the wall balls at 10 minutes (Karen PR). Then did 90 unbroken double unders (double under PR). The got 2 muscle ups!! -I have tested this wod three times prior to this and have never made it through the wall balls. This felt so good today!!
B. 2,000m row: 8:48 (felt fatigued from the day and felt slow) 500m row: 1:57 (1 second PR)
Session 1 (had to do it reverse because of time): 2000 Row - 7:59 (New PR) ; Old PR: 8:09 500m Row - 1:47 (Not New PR) ; PR stands at 1:45 Session 2: Broke up the Wall Balls into 25's - got to 125 then did 15 and 10 Double Unders Unbroken Had 4:46 to get ONE muscle up. I tried. I really really tried. I got so close. But alas, no MU's for this girl today. There's always tomorrow!! Was happy with how quickly I got through the other stuff tho. Felt good.
Session 1: I've done that open wod a few times, but I can't find in my notebook the last time we did it. I do know that I've never got even halfway through the DUs. Today I finally finished the DUs. I didn't have much time to attempt a DU, but I guess that's the next goal. Session 2: 2000m row: 8:49. I have no idea when we did it last so I can't say what it was. I missed the 2000m we did during the summer. I wasted 10 seconds adjusting my phone that was falling out mid row grrr 500m row: 1:54 this was a pr! I believe my pr before was 1:57. During was 1:58.
8 mins on WB I PR'd with my DU, I was able to get 25, 23, then consistent sets of 10s the rest of the way. I finished DU with 25 secs remaining, so rested 20 secs and made an attempt at a MU, but failed.
Is session 1 going to be the class WOD also?
