Didn't PR my snatch today. Hit my 185 but failed 190 several times. Was very close, though.
On a better note, I went from 290 reps to 325 reps on the workout (7+10). I also feel like I had more in the tank. If it was a competition I would've done even better.
Hit 120 a few weeks ago. Attempted 123, 8 times, and failed all (didn't realize how many times I tried). Feeling dissapointed because I was solid on all the snatches leading up to it so if there was gonna be a day to PR, it was today. On a brighter note I didn't use my brace and only tweaked it on my 6th attempt so that makes me more confident with being aggressive: http://youtu.be/P5nV4maA8Uo (115x1, 123x8- all fails).
Prior: 105 During: 110 today: 105 -Obviously I would have liked to PR today, but I just have to keep reminding myself that the quality of my olympic lifts have gotten SO much better. I just need to stay positive and keep working on them.
First off, great work as always. The dedication needed to continue this process is immense and I commend you for continuing along. Now to the PRs - those of you who PRd 2 weeks ago (when you weren't supposed to) and not today should be frustrated. Your PRd during this cycle period. This process is not easy and not realizing the bigger picture and always being frustrated with your progress will not lead to results - take it from someone who has been there thousands of times. Every day, every week will not be a PR. Too many factors go into testing and affecting testing. Get some rest and prepare for tomorrow. It's a new day.
Prior 195 During 210. Test 205 try hitting 215 like 8 times I think lol, I'm under it every time but just can't stabilize it, ill get it next time, 205 felt easy. 14.1 Prior 290. Test 315 pr just need to work on my double unders I could of done better but till next time, but happy with my performance

Ah the frustration continues. I felt MUCH better than I have been. The time off helped but I was still sluggish. Too much pizza.
