Top Work at the 5am slot! Hit 10480, pacing between 2.05 and 2.12 for most of it which is under the pace recommended so happy was able to keep that up! Strokes were at 28-31 per minute. Before Crossfit I wouldn't have dreamed or managed doing a row for more than 10 minutes!
Physical game for the first 5000 or so. Pretty much mental for the rest. Couldn't figure a way to row and drink so the bottle of Gatorade went down at the end.
*rowing is definitely one of my bigger weaknesses* Hit 9920m. Took me around 15-20m to keep at the 2:05-2:15 rhythm. Kept swaying up to 2:15-2:25 pace before then. Managed to stay under 2:15 for the last 5 minutes of the row. Definitely need to work more on keeping a consistent pace.
9,450m for me. Good test, and I definitely should have pushed myself harder. Hopefully next week I won't be doing it alone so I stay motivated! Lingered around a 2:30 pace which is 50sec over my 500m PR time.....definitely going to improve next time :)
First time doing this I hit 14,504m kept a 2:04.1 pace entire time. Surprisingly not winded or tired, legs and ass cramped. Excited to do this weekly - gold standard for men is 15,400
9561. Thoughts: - Like others, my back cramped within the first 1.5k - that wasn't fun. Not sure if I'm rowing wrong? - Was bored and nobody wanted to chat with me, whomp whomp. - I liked rowing in a circle and seeing Melissa, Stephen, Monica, Craig, and Stevens pretty faces. One Team, One Dream. Whoop!
9,393, avg pace 2:23 -Considering rowing is a big weakness of mine I am satisfied with how I did and am looking forward to getting better on this damn machine -Back cramped up as well, need to focus on better posture next time
9365m; 2:24 avg pace - 38 sec off my max. This was my first time rowing this long and I wasn't sure how to pace it over the whole 45 min. I definitely could have gone harder overall. Fortunately my back didn't cramp up, but the spot at the top of my legs did... maybe I'm not rowing correctly.
10,150 meters (paced around 2:10-2:15) (Switched out rest day and did 45 min row on Wednesday).

ReplyDeleteAwesome work everyone - don't worry next week you row but harder and for less time :)
ReplyDelete10,000m because I am a very shitty rower with no sense of maintaining a rhythm. 2:15 pace.
ReplyDeleteChris for the score you wrote a few comments ago you mean for an hour rowing not 45 min? I rowed a 2:00 min pace for 11248 meters

Delete11203. Tried to keep it under a 2.00 pace. Ended up at 2.00:05. Lower back burn (cramp) was biggest obstacle.
